algaecide - Same as the algaecide provided in the spring startup chemical kits. When added to your pool before closing will help your pool water to ward off algae growth during the offseason.
rust & scale preventer - Rust and scale preventer, when added during the closing process, will keep mineral deposits from forming in your pool over the offseason avoiding any potential buildup of mineral deposits that you would not find until next spring.
shock - Shocking your swimming pool before closing your pool for the winter will go a long way towards avoiding any unwanted "surprises" when you go to open your pool next spring.
